‘Learn, Educate, Advocate, Develop’
YouthBorders LEAD (Learn, Educate, Advocate, Develop) Awards.
We want to recognise all contributions to the youth sector and to our members progressions and achievements. Anyone can nominate a group and/or individual in the Youth Sector in the Scottish Borders who are members of YouthBorders for almost all categories which are aimed at staff, managers, volunteers and young people unless specifically stated on the category e.g. Volunteer of the Year, Youth worker of the Year, Organisation of the Year and Inspiring Advocate of Mental Health for Young People Organisation Award.Â
Awards will be presented at our “Celebration of Youth Work” event on Tuesday 10th June at Tweed Horizons Centre.
Closing date for nominations, Friday 9th May 2025.

- Community Inspiration Award - Sponsored by Community Learning & Development/Resilient Communities Team
- Life Skills for the Future Award
- Inspiring Advocate of Mental Health for Young People Organisation Award - presented by Claire McElroy, NHS Borders Public Health Team
