They aim to connect young people to meaningful, business lead experiences in school that widen an understanding around career choice, informing them about all the available pathways and support the development of transferable skills, which are key to the future world of work. We support the Young Person’s Guarantee, looking to provide every 16-24 yr. old with a positive and sustained destination, whether that is a job, an apprenticeship, further or higher education, training, volunteering or setting up their own enterprise. We have DYW Coordinators in each of our high schools who facilitate activities, link businesses and work with teachers to enhance the learning across the curriculum.
